"The Aquarium" mural is a captivating artistic collaboration between myself and Swiss artist ANOY, set against the backdrop of Batroun, Lebanon. This piece is an ode to sustainability and the enchanting beauty of marine life, serving as a symbol of environmental awareness. The mural adorns the walls of an abandoned building, once destined to be a marine research center, bringing a poignant reminder of the area's historical commitment to studying the sea.
With remarkable speed and ingenuity, "The Aquarium" was completed in just half a day, utilizing only the supplies we had at our disposal. The creative process was marked by adaptability, as we repurposed old furniture to access the lofty heights of the mural, bypassing the need for ladders. The artwork itself serves as an immersive underwater experience, inviting passersby to dive into the depths of our shared aquatic heritage, encouraging reflection on our relationship with the natural world.
